RAZLIKA HAVE / HAVE GOT

Razlika između have i have got, može biti pomalo zbunjujuća. •

Have i have got  zajednički se koriste za posjedovanje,a has samo u P. Simpleu. •

Jill has got a beautiful dress ili Jill has a beautiful dress.

Upitna- Has Jill got a beautiful dress ili Does Jill has a beautiful dress. ( Ima li Jill lijepu haljinu?) •

Niječna- Jill hasn`t got a beautiful dress. Jill doesn`t have a beautiful dress. ( Jill nema lijepu haljinu.) •

Have se koristi u prošlom vremenu ili budućem. ( She had a copy of that book) •

Samo Have kad pričamo o radnjama. ( I usually have breakfast at 8 o clock.) •

Upitna forma za have slijedi Present Simple. ( Do you have a nice car? Ne Have you a nice car.) •

Nema skraćenice za have, samo za have got. ( I`ve got... Nema- I`ve ..) I`ve got ( ili have) a new jacket.
